Passed the Amateur Radio "General" exam tonight! Tried for the Extra license despite not studying for it, and only got half the questions right. Going to go back next month and take the Extra exam after properly studying for it! New Year's Day is the next exam! Anyone else want to join the party?

Serious question: What are the good parts about Facebook for you? What do you get real value from on Facebook?

Example and counterexample of what I'm looking for: "I like seeing pictures of my friends' cats" is an appropriate answer. "All my friends are on it" is not an appropriate answer, since there is no inherent value of having all your friends on it.

Totally passed the ham radio test in about 10 minutes of arriving. I only missed one question, and it was a stupid mistake. Luckily your call sign isn't based on how many questions you get right! 😉

Since they let you take the next level test for no additional charge, I gave it a shot despite having started reading the manual for that level only today. I still got 23/35 right and a passing score is 26! Looks like I'll be back next month to take that test!

In about two weeks I'll get my call sign and will be able to talk on the air! 🎙

Well we're definitely the youngest people here taking the ham radio test.
