  • Seriously Simple Podcasting: Including all Episodes in the Podcast RSS Feed

Seriously Simple Podcasting is a great Wordpress plugin for hosting your own podcast. However, the number of episodes it includes in the RSS feed is tied to the number of items you include in all your other RSS feeds as well.

better to treat the impassioned misconceptions as a cry for help about the state of indieweb tools for personal use rather than any actual reasoned criticism of chances of growth / success on a more macro scale

Sad to hear, especially since you tried to use my plugins. But I will not try to convince you to come back, I know my plugins are lacking. They are just pieces of my own site I open sourced, but the way I cut them off might break things.

I am actively working on two new ones at the moment, with some 'official' IndieWeb libraries, with unit testing, hopefully even with panel widgets. They should be much more stable and user friendly than the old ones.

So I am not asking to come back now, but please, let me ping you when I got the new ones ready. I hope you will like those.

We're a long way from general adoption, but we can make steps.

@aaronpk Good job! Maybe I should add my W6AZ call sign to my About page here. Ha ha. 😀 Your radio is 2 m? Any plans for HF?

    Aaron Parecki
Nice! Or just make a whole separate site for it ;-) https://w7apk.com

I have a 2m/70cm radio right now. I'm interested in HF but I think that's a longer-term project, probably not until I live somewhere I can mount an antenna on my roof. (My apartment building wouldn't like that very much!)

Took my new bike radio rig out for a spin tonight! It's a 40 amp-hour rechargeable battery powering a 50 watt radio in the side bag, connected to a roll-up antenna hanging from the bike flag. The cable runs along the bike frame up the handlebars to the radio faceplate attached to a magnetic phone mount. Was able to check in to the ARES net tonight without any trouble! First time on air with the new radio! #w7apk #hamradio

Attempting an Instant Pot hot sauce recipe tonight! • 2 cups cherry tomatoes • 2 carrots • 1 small onion • 1.5 cups habaneros • 4 cloves garlic • 1 cup rice vinegar • 1 cup water • 1/2 cup Mustard • 1/2 tsp xanthan gum Chop the carrots, onion, garlic and habaneros. They don't have to be super fine. Sauté the onions in the instant pot until translucent. Add everything and set to high pressure for 4 minutes. Let the pressure come down naturally, or you'll get a room full of capsaicin and you will regret it. Blend with an immersion blender. Notes on the outcome of this recipe will follow!

Update! This turned out really good, it just doesn't have quite enough heat! The vinegar and liquid ratio was great though. next time I think I'll just double the habaneros!

What do you do with way too much zucchini? Make zucchini chips! Thinly slice zucchini and top with oil, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Bake at 250 degrees for about an hour until they get crispy! #zucchini #cooking #easyrecipes
