Alright let's try this again. On a new flight from LaGuardia to Boston, and the rain has subsided. Still an active flash flood warning.
It looks like we're going to take off here, so far no mentions of delays.
If this works, I'm going to be getting in just an hour before the meeting in Montreal. -
Shoutout to the very nice @United agent who spent an hour on the phone with me to bump me to this earlier flight and got me a ticket while it was boarding. Now departing 30m later than the original Air Canada flight, but it was then completely cancelled so I guess that's a win.

Whoa, the plane that landed in front of us blew a tire on landing and delayed our takeoff by 20 minutes while they cleaned it up. ✈️

Sometimes when I'm sitting on the plane about to take off, looking out the window at the other planes flying by, my mind starts wandering thinking "what would happen if..." and I end up googling some disaster. Made it to Hannover after a dicey connection in Frankfurt. A 15 minute delay on a 45 minute connection, plus buses from and to the planes leaves exactly 0 minutes. Was last thru the gate. 😅

Made it to Barcelona! I keep trying to say simple words in Spanish, but instead the words keep coming out in German.
I'm having flashbacks to grade school where we switched between German and Spanish lessons every month and I always took a couple days to adjust. -
I just got a notification that I can check in to my flight from Barcelona to Hannover, but I haven't even boarded my flight from Paris to Barcelona yet.
There should be a rule that you can't check in to a flight departing from a city you aren't even in yet. -
