I love it when you preview your own YouTube video and think β€œhot damn I nailed this one”!!

Because obviously that means NO ONE will watch it.

oops the writers of So Help Me Todd messed up:

"3752… that's an American Express card!"

Nope! There's 0% chance of that being the last 4 of an AMEX! For that to be true, he would have had to had 3 replacement cards and 74 other authorized users.

Equating passwords with centralized IAM is disingenuous at best, demagoguery at worst - there is NOTHING in centralized IAM preventing you from using #passkeys or any other phishing resistance method.
If you want to sell decentralized, do better. @kuppingercole #EiC2023

It's been over ten years so I think it's okay to vaguely mention my experience when the president and owner of the company accidentally broke the embargo of our acquisition due to timezones and really messed things up. The fun thing about 3D printing is being able to make custom mounts and brackets that are useful to approximately 3 people in the world.

WHY HAVE A TV WRITER ON SET?

Since they already wrote the script (and rewrote it 8 times, and tweaked it after the table read)?

Glad you asked, here's a thread.

why yes, if there was one feature missing from all of my headphone cases it's that they can't open bottles.

have we reached the point of AI product generation? This bottle-opening headphone case came into my press inbox but is this really real??

So I recently installed a motion sensor light, but now at about 8:15pm it starts blinking on and off every half second. At first I thought it was a one off glitch. But now I'm pretty sure it's because it turns on when it's dark, but it sees the reflection of its own light in the neighbor's window and turns itself off. blink blink blink.

It’s no longer the right time to build core company services on Twitter. Advertisers have left en masse because they don’t want to be near the hate speech. He changes rules on a whim. The platform is flaky and unreliable. Invest your money and time and effort elsewhere.

Just added a new feature to my website's BlueSky integration:

If you remove the `staging.bsky.app/profile` part of the URL from one of my BlueSky posts, it will redirect you to the canonical post on my website! Try it!

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
