This trip is doing a good job of reminding me why I don't check bags. 40 minutes waiting for bags at PDX, and the Lyft pickup went from 1 minute away to 15 minutes away ๐Ÿ˜ญ

also, the tools for managing photos are extremely limited, like not being able to adjust modification dates of photos, and not being able to choose sort order within albums

Trump’s site Truth Social broke software rules, says copyleft group

"broke software rules" is a pretty weak headline when it could have been something with much more teeth ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ญ

I haven't used a slide clicker on my box for about a decade, since that one conference where I hopped on stage, installed the driver of the damn thing, and one of my demos broke (something abt DLLs used by both Office & VS).
I am going to give it another try, fingers crossed :P
    Aaron Parecki
the mistake was using a clicker that requires a driver! I <3 my logitech spotlight bluetooth clicker, tho I haven't had a reason to use it in the last 18 months ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I think this is the move. Luke warm water to make coffee is usually quite disappointing mud water.
    Aaron Parecki
My theory was the lukewarm water would make the cold press process go faster..?

Also I don't wanna wait 12 hours for my first coffee of the day ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I get a lot of requests for coding tests in my videos, but I'm the farthest thing from a coder.

So to all the coders out there I hear you and want to include you.

Is there a program I can buy or run to give you a sense of the power of a tablet/computer?

Still *somehow* Iโ€™m hopeful that the 2030s will be better than we can ever imagine them right now. Lots of pain between now and then and lots more work to be done.

If I lived in London I would be all over this. But why isnโ€™t it a website?! It would probably have been cheaper for them to develop and would allow them to serve a far wider set of people. My guess is: a consultant fleeced them.
    Aaron Parecki
It's probably a website wrapped in a native app too ๐Ÿ˜ญ
