So I recently installed a motion sensor light, but now at about 8:15pm it starts blinking on and off every half second. At first I thought it was a one off glitch. But now I'm pretty sure it's because it turns on when it's dark, but it sees the reflection of its own light in the neighbor's window and turns itself off. blink blink blink.

@aaronpk sounds unusual. PIR sensors shouldn't care about visible light much (and your lamp shouldn't emit much IR). Could be that the brightness sensor is triggered by the light, but without movement the light shouldn't go on either way. Could you disable the brightness sensor for a test?
