I miss when I was a teenager and the idea of building a website was super fresh, fun, and exciting because the internet wasn't then just four or five apps owned by billionaires, but billions of HTML websites run on Angelfire.

This looks like it's going to be more of a no go this year as time goes on.

People that I want to see aren't/can't go and I've already seen a company/ brand decide to not go.

A bummer, for sure, but safety is key. I'm fairly comfortable going. But if vendors drop too, then...

That's kind of where I'm at right now too, which I'm super disappointed about

Email works because it's the only common platform; it's federated and reasonably decentralized, and doesn't require terms of service consent to a 3rd party exchange messages. The same is true of SMS.

Finally had the first failure of my Prusa Mini #3DPrinter. I was changing the filament and it got stuck on its way out, and then I snapped it trying to pull it out. Seven months is a pretty good run for zero maintenance though!

So what's needed is „listen to requests here, validate them and pass them towards this ORM“.

The rest (database connection string, port etc) is configuration.

I have not decided on a programming language yet …
