Nice term I just learned via Zach Mandeville (https://coolguy.website/): "the chorus". It's his alternative name for the decentralized web, including and beyond the fediverse (so Dat and SSB and other things), one that avoids being a negative definition that defines itself in relation to what it is not.

Been enjoying IndieWebCamp NYC 2018 yesterday and today. Wish I could be there in person but remote participation is a close second.
Today’s project: I’m working on an admin interface for Yarns Microsub Server, so it will be possible to manage feed subscriptions from the WordPress dashboard.

We accidentally got this absurdly fancy hotel suite that was clearly designed for executive meetings. I filmed myself sitting in every single chair. There are 26 chairs in total in my hotel room.
