    Welcome to the Microsub life!

I’ve gone crazy with channels but it makes choosing what I want to consume MUCH easier. On busy days I can just mark entire channels as read and ignore the posts if I feel like it but still check the channels that I know contain info or people important to me.

Switched from an iPhone 7 to the XS (yes it’s a stupid name) and my old man brain already misses the trusty home button and despises the swipe down from the top to access Control Center (which I use more than anything else on the phone). Turns out, the home button is how you know which end is the bottom without looking. Oh god I am so old.

god bless the trope of "Awesome X" lists on GitHub, re-inventing the original Yahoo! Directory one repo at a time (the awesome lists often even have an exclamation point at the end, as if in homage)

There is a bit too much apologizing for relying on qualitative data at #qs18
Data are data. If you provide something interesting and substantiated by what data you collected, it’s fine if it’s qualitative. The quant stuff doesn’t inherently win that contest, btw.
