Notes from livestreaming IndieWebCamp Germany:
- the backpack full of equipment is heavy, it would be great to figure out how to lighten it
- need a longer microphone cable to get the boundary mic to reach farther
- switching rooms meant that the HDMI splitter for the computer needed a longer cable the second day, so I need either more cables or ideally have the host provide at least one long HDMI cable for each location
- having the computer running OBS for the streaming was useful since I was able to overlay session titles quickly as well as blank the stream with the IWC logo while fiddling with the switcher output
- the IRC log overlay didn't come in handy as much as I thought it would, tho it was glitchy the first day and might have been more useful then if it had worked properly
- I should ask the host to provide power extension cables rather than trying to bring those
- having a longer HDMI cord that goes to the projector/TV means I can be more flexible in positioning the booth, since that was the limiting factor this time
- two cameras was enough, not sure what I would do with a third for this kind of event
