good news: my Mastodon/fediverse timeline has already ramped up to the level of activity of my Twitter timeline
bad news: catching up on my Mastodon/fediverse timeline is now as noticeably bad for my mental health as Twitter was -
My #FollowFriday is @EposVox. Or as you may know him, "The Stream Professor".
Generous with his time and thoughts, he has a far more open mind about what the future of platforms, content, and what ownership over all of it means than the run of the mill content creator.
I've watched his videos for some time, and it's been great to connect with him on the #Fediverse. -
I still really love visiting an Owncast stream (I'm hanging out at @streaming right now) and seeing people follow, like and share the stream on the #Fediverse.

@gabek SQUEEEEE!!!! This is so exciting! I also LOVE how you're looking at how #Owncast can *co-operate* with #Peertube, rather than becoming competing standards.
What I would love to see eventually would be a flow like this:
1. When an Owncast user starts casting it's autoposted to the #Fediverse where it can be viewed embedded.
2. People can follow the user from the fedi client
3. Comments posted on the Owncast cast show up as replies on the toot, replies from fedi show as stream comments -
