Pretty stoked about the stickers going out to people who completed the 20 in 2020 savings challenges on the OMD forums! Little different then I planned on at the the beginning of 2020 πŸ˜‚

Ended up getting an AJA KUMO 1616 12G instead. The VideoHub mod is expensive to ship and import to where I live. Very happy with the KUMO so far, it's small and fanless. It doesn't have any controls on the front panel, but the web interface and Companion do the job.
    Aaron Parecki
Ah very nice! I knew 16 wasn't going to be enough for me so I would have had to jump up to the 32x32 which is quite a bit more expensive

Sorting through my photo archives and it's possible that I may have traveled slightly too much in the past. Maybe.
    Aaron Parecki
    haha same.

Tangentially, what do you use for photo archives these days? I used to use Flickr extensively but I'm not super happy with it anymore.

Welp I finally just updated to PHP 7.4 on my servers so I hope I didn't break anything. If you're seeing this post that's a good sign that things are still working.

I too was surprised this was still a thing. Do you have a link to what you saw in MDN? Always good to have supporting evidence from a respected source that can help.

If A/V glitches in movies were more like real life, I wouldn’t have ended up frozen for a full minute with this face on a livestream due to a power outage

How, in the 21st century, do home electronics makers still think that "these random set of lights blinking is an error code you must look up in the manual you no longer have" is acceptable? How does *any* product designer suggest that and not get fired on the spot?

I'm very passionate about the debate on whether HTML is a programming language. Specifically my position is fuck the guys who come into these discussions just to gatekeep "real programming" and die on this hill. Instablocked.

I saw this and was like "honestly there's no way people are going to be still arguing about this"

... then I read the replies and omfg! so many new people to add to my block list.

I also went to go fix the MDN definition but saw someone beat me to it πŸ˜…

@aaronpk thank you for all the great content on OAuth that you have published!
Question: is it a big deal that the @ietf OAuth 2.1 draft has expired?
    Aaron Parecki
Thanks! Not at all, I’m actually going to be publishing a new version today. It just means that work on it has slowed down over the last few months.
