My hopes of quickly learning some architectural rendering software to try out paint colors and other interior design plans are not working out 😅 There does not seem to be a quick way to learn these

I'm starting to think the 5/2 weekday schedule isn't working for me, and I need to try 10/4 instead. It takes a few days to ramp back up to work brain, and by Friday I finally feel like I'm on a roll, only to lose all context again over the weekend.

I just used my Flipper Zero to read my cats' microchips 😮 Turns out the vet had them backwards in their file so I'm glad I was able to check!

Still blown away at how well my last video did, 54K views in a week, most of my videos have been averaging 2-5K views. Notably, I didn't do anything fancy with the production value either, once again proving that level of effort does not turn in to views.

a couple months ago I started locking the cats in the bathroom while I prepare their food, otherwise they'd climb on top of me and eat it all before I could serve it.

But now they've started locking themselves in the bathroom in order to manifest food...

I just learned far more about emoji and unicode than I thought I ever would need to, but I managed to update my emoji detection library to support Emoji 15.1!

I'm planning out my travel for the year, and now that Brisbane is scratched, I'm barely going to hit Alaska MVP Gold. And if I buy the annual lounge pass, even with the signup bonus discount, it will work out to about $35 per visit.

Today I learned about supercooling, where a liquid can get below its freezing point without ice forming.

I found a half-drunk bottle of coke in the construction site that was still liquid. As soon as I moved it, the whole thing instantly turned to ice!

I was approximately .1% confident that I would be able to actually spend my LP FSA money that rolls over to 2024 since I won't quality for an FSA next year and they're also changing FSA providers. So I just spent the rest of the money on new glasses. 😎

welp, managed to go a whole year without a major airline snafu until my last work trip of the year. Flight from Miami to Portland was cancelled, and all the other options from Miami were bad. So I'm taking the Brightline train to Orlando and getting on a direct flight to Portland tonight!

I'm excited that my last two trips of the year are both to beach towns in the US, which means an excellent opportunity for some drone flying! My last couple trips have been to places with too strict drone laws so I didn't bother bringing it.

Yesterday I cracked open XCode for the first time in a few years and did a marathon coding session on my GPS tracker app, Overland! I fixed a backlog of issues and added a few new features!
