There's always so much to do after I get home from a trip, like clean my desk, but I've been on the road so much lately that I haven't even cleaned my desk since XOXO.

I forgot that I had run out of Campari but my cocktail robot was already pouring a Boulevardier so I swapped the Campari tube for Zwack and now I have a cocktail that is not what I was looking forward to but is okay #whiningontheyacht

Today I learned about the iOS "Guided Access" mode which lets you lock the phone into running just one app like a kiosk! You can't even turn off the phone when it's put into this mode! So cool.

Tried to go the local option and get canning supplies at some place in town, but couldn't find anywhere that sold canning lids by themselves or pots that work on glass stoves. 😔 Found everything I need on Amazon of course and it will be here Tuesday. womp womp.

Just made two bots for @xoxo! They are only followable from Mastodon/etc right now.

ShuttleBot will post a stream of updates about where the two shuttles are during the festival: ShuttleBot@shuttle.xoxofest.com

XOXO_toots will boost toots from attendees that mention "xoxo", just like https://twitter.com/xoxofest_tweets does on Twitter!

This has been quite an experiment in diving into ActivityPub the last couple days.

My todo list is so long that I had already done some things on it and forgotten to check them off because I was too anxious about looking at my todo list because it was so long.
