Anyone have 3,500 Delta miles they could gift me? I'm just a hair short for a flight. I could just buy them for $140, but thought I'd ask.

Sometimes I want a secret twitter account to retweet all of the crap I read that I don't want associated with my actual identity.

Funny, after seeing the same comparison of server- vs client-side rendering of HTML, I had the opposite reaction: http://www.onebigfluke.com/2015/01/experimentally-verified-why-client-side.html

TL;DR: Client-side and server-side rendering are approximately equivalent for moderately-sized pages. The author uses this data to justify his use of client-side rendering, while I use this data to justify server-side rendering.

I was wondering how long it would take people to spam Google Analytics. Looks like it's happening now. http://www.ditherandbicker.com/posts/2015-01-10-rip-google-analytics.html

The problem with owning my likes is that I feel like I need a unified reader so that I can stop opening the twitter, Instagram and Facebook mobile apps.

Ever since launching likes on my site, I've been more hesitant to read Twitter/Instagram on my phone because I don't have a way to like posts from there.

I need to either a) build a reader or b) write a script to PESOS the likes.

Me after getting the temporary filling after my root canal: "So is there room in there for an RFID chip?"

    Dentist: *blink blink* "...Yes"

    So this might be happening.

The Github activity page is an interesting example of a feed where the entries have both an author photo as well as an icon indicating the type of entry.

    http://aaronparecki.com/uploads/Github_activity_page-20150101-170906.png

Currently my entries have a place for a single image which is either the author photo or an icon representing the post type. Maybe this is something I should think about redesigning.
