Nice! Japanese planners are the best! Most planners over here treat Saturday and Sunday as one day, but Japanese planners just give every 24 hours the same amount of paper :D

oAuth is both simple and horrendously complex. The key to understanding it is to get to grips with the flow. This is an accessible talk by @aaronpk on things that could go wrong.

. @dwaite Let's not forget browser based apps could also do without #OAuth, or use a simple backend to handle client side #OAuth #osw2019

It's high time to retire the #OAuth 2.0 implicit grant. Browser-based apps should use the code flow with CORS XHR to retrieve the token(s) #osw2019

Portland's zoning map makes Laurelhurst look even more ridiculous than I knew.

top center = rail station w/ trains to downtown every 5m all day

    green = gorgeous public park

light yellow = 5,000 sqft land purchase required for residence

other colors = duplexes, apartments, etc

Me: [scrolling through posts in Monocle, the IndieWeb reader]

    Monocle:

8 nearly-identical posts saying 'Tantek Çelik liked a post on twitter.com'

Me: I don't want to open up 8 tabs for Twitter. I'll just visit Tantek's homepage where I bet he shows these tweets in full context.

    tantek.com:

Tantek's website similarly has no context for these tweets, saying 'likes @jgarber’s tweet at 18:54, tweet at 18:53, @shiflett’s tweet at 18:53, tweet at 18:53, @mathowie’s tweet at 18:53, @leahculver’s tweet at 18:53, tweet at 18:52, and tweet at 18:52'

The magnitude of that disaster stunned us all. I’m sorry for those lost. We were all mesmerized by the drama of the Fukashima nuclear plant over the next months.

I never went to Japan. But @anomalily is there now, 8 (not 9, sorry!) years later! My kid is my hero.

I went to my office to see if my boss, who lived in Tokyo, was online. He was on Yahoo! IM. “Are you OK? Where are you?”

“I’m OK. Under my dining room table, with my sons.”

    Yikes.

Needless to say, trip cancelled. 3/4
