I’ve long since given in to the luxury of allowing a specialist to fix my bike tires. The walk-up window at @SellwoodCycle has 100% spoiled me…
    Aaron Parecki
Yeah this may be the answer 😬 Until about last year I always went to a bike shop if I had a flat. Barely ever had flats. Replaced my tubes three times this year and got a flat again shortly after each time. I am clearly not cut out to be a bike mechanic.

Realize that traveling for work is usually a massive time waste & cut it by 80% for next year. The best way to recover, is not to continually put yourself in the same cycle.
    Aaron Parecki
At the end of 2019, after 40 cities and 97 days on planes, I told myself I was going to significantly cut my travel down for 2020. Turns out that plan kind of made itself πŸ˜‚πŸ˜¬

@aaronpk cool. I’ve been making hot sauce for a couple of years now, but it’s been almost exclusively lacto-fermented. I’ll have to give something like this a try.

    Aaron Parecki
I recently tried doing that and only one of the three batches I made was edible 😬 and it scared me off doing any more fermentation experiments πŸ™ˆ

Ugh, I’m doing my roof and gutters. What is the best way to get solar panels? I assume the β€œfor free” people are a bit scammy?
    Aaron Parecki
Don't go the "for free" route. It's not actually a scam, but it's basically an agreement that you'll keep the panels for a fixed period of time like 15-20 years, which can really mess things up for future owners of the house. Ask me how I know πŸ˜¬πŸ™ƒ

The list of supported SD cards for the Hyperdeck recorders was updated recently, and there are only 3 SD card brands on the list now 😬

The good news is the ProGrade V90 cards are on that list, and they just went on sale for 15% off!

    Aaron Parecki
rookie move. That's why you gotta subscribe to the ics feed instead of import πŸ˜‰

But for real now I have to decide whether to go the full Mon-Fri (flying in on Sunday which I was really trying to not do this year) or join the OAuth one remotely 😬

I've definitely been lurking on the likes. Some people forget that they're public so when I see they keep liking the "praise be to god" posts, it's pretty easy to tell how they feel about it.

It appears we have lost the value of the separation of the digital vs real me - me at Home, at Work, in my Gaming Community and many more I want to keep separate - sharing just my attributes should support this #identiverse

This guy flies his Skydio in autonomous mode while riding his bike in traffic, the drone loses him & flies into a train station filled with people. Somehow the cops let him go, so he flies again.

    πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈThis is not OK.

Even @SkydioHQ is in the comments.
