We were notified that Parler was using a free trial of Okta’s product and we have terminated Parler’s access to the Okta platform. While we support organizations across the political spectrum, our platform will not be used for threats of violence and illegal activity.

On January 6, armed Trumpist militias will be rallying in DC, at Trump's orders. It's highly likely that they'll try to storm the Capitol after it certifies Joe Biden's win. I don't think this has sunk in yet.

So, I set up my new Alexa to respond to "Computer..."

I didn't think about it until I turned on Star Trek, and - halfway through the episode - my house fired a spread of photon torpedoes into our neighbors' garage.

This note is to say sorry again about your truck, Kevin.

Now that I have punched you in the face it's time to heal and move on. Assigning blame as to which of us did the punching and which got punched would only serve to divide us- a punchee and a puncher- even further. Now that my punching hand stings a little, I call for unity.

It's really cool, isn't it? I had tried it when implementing my IndieAuth server my manually constructing OAuth2-only requests, but it's super cool to see it working out-of-the-box with PKCE support through a client

Tonight I've been investigating a few things for my #Postman API Hack and I've found that Postman's OAuth2 support is pretty awesome - it works very nicely with #Indieauth which is an important part of my hack πŸ˜‰ I'm also pretty happy with what I'm planning on doing - hoping to get some good progress with the hack itself this weekend, too!

    Aaron Parecki
oh hey that's good news, that was one of the motivations of a lot of the recent IndieAuth changes to make it more like generic OAuth!

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
