Nice term I just learned via Zach Mandeville (https://coolguy.website/): "the chorus". It's his alternative name for the decentralized web, including and beyond the fediverse (so Dat and SSB and other things), one that avoids being a negative definition that defines itself in relation to what it is not.

Define "significant". Many, many people are very happily using microformats to interact with one another. http://Micro.blog is built on microformats. Not enough for you?

My goal by the end of the year is to have something like what @aaronpk outlines here in https://aaronparecki.com/2018/04/20/46/indieweb-reader-my-new-home-on-the-internet. His system is nice but I want to put my own spin on it.
