Thanks to the kind folks in passport control (who let us cut to the front of the line), we made our flight to Crete with 0 minutes to spare. Phew! 😅

Seriously why is accessing XML namespaced tags so difficult? I tried parsing this podcast feed with 3 different libraries and they all failed to take into account the itunes: namespaced properties and didn't give me a way to fall back to access the elements directly. 🙅

  • Turnip and Zucchini Soup

    Ingredients

    • 2 onions, diced
    • 3 cloves garlic, chopped fine
    • 1/4 cup ginger, chopped fine
    • 8 cups turnips, (about 20 small turnips)
    • 4 medium zucchini, chopped
    • 1 can coconut milk
    • 1/2 bouillon cube
    • 2 oz lemon juice
    • 1 tbsp curry paste
    • Salt
    • Black pepper

    Instructions

Set the instant pot to "Sauté".

Sauté the onions and garlic with some olive oil until the onions are translucent.

Chop the turnips and zucchini into 1/2" to 1" sized pieces. Add the turnips, zucchini, ginger, bouillon cube, salt, pepper, curry paste and coconut milk into the pot. Add water until only a half inch of veggies are not submerged. Mix together with a large spoon. Set the instant pot to "manual" high pressure for 12 minutes.

Use the quick release to release the pressure. Add the lemon juice and blend with an immersion blender until smooth.

@smokey @aaronpk @eli must be some feed then? I think as long as the timezone is taken care of in the feeds, it should not be an issue for the reader, especially if the responses originated at Micro.blog?

My replies are all sent via webmention from my website, not created in micro.blog. I’m guessing that’s where the discrepancy is.

@aaronpk why should this conversation be all broken? I see Aaron’s replies first and @eli’s questions. 🤔 cc @manton

Looks like it got confused about the timezone?
