@aaronpk once the RFC is passed, we’ll gladly look into it.

@dropshareformac Micropub is a @w3c Recommendation now! I'd love to use Dropshare as a Media Endpoint https://www.w3.org/TR/micropub/#media-endpoint

@dropshareformac Basically I want to use Dropshare instead of this hacked up folder automation workflow https://aaronparecki.com/2016/11/02/5/screenshots

Anyone in the IndieWeb space know if http://micro.blog is going to be an OSS protocol vs. a closed source company?
    Aaron Parecki
@ummjackson You can use the micro.blog iOS app to post to your own Micropub website, and the site also sends Webmentions!

Thanks - I'm talking more about the server-side implementation for building the feeds and receiving the Webmentions... will that be open?
    Aaron Parecki
@ummjackson I don't think they're planning on making it open source. Plenty of OSS code for Webmentions here tho https://indieweb.org/Webmention-developer

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
