@theosanderson What's the URL encoding scheme you use for the #upgoerfive editor? I see the text is encoded in the URL but it's not base64

Sorry it's intentionally obfuscated in a (perhaps paranoid) attempt to avoid it being used to 'host' nefarious text..

@theosanderson oh I guess that makes sense. I was wondering if it's a huffman-like lookup table or more like base64 encoding.

Are there any security implications of a website knowing whether you have the 1password browser extension installed?

This page will find out whether you have the extension installed, and it could send that information back to my server.

Type something into the box below.

Funny how @timberners_lee predicted variable pixel densities in images on the web 24 years ago http://1997.webhistory.org/www.lists/www-talk.1993q2/0417.html

  • Day 75: Improvements to the Webmention Wiki Page #100DaysOfIndieWeb

I've been feeling like the Webmention page on the IndieWeb wiki doesn't do a very good job of explaining what Webmention does for users, and jumps too quickly into spec details. I would like to be able to direct people at this page when I am talking to them online about what Webmention can do, which often means what I am trying to show them is how Webmention can be used to display comments and other interactions on a website. Today I started to make some incremental improvements.

  • Day 75 - Dark

Day 75. I used more complex samples than I normally like to, as a shortcut to build up this much sound. (I didn't get started until really late today and needed to do something quickly). I added a few of my own instruments on top though, and tried to give it some shape other than just what came with the original sounds. I kind of want this one to keep going for a while longer!
