I finally put up the trim for the LED strip on the roof patio. There was this awkward corner to get around that I filled in with epoxy putty, seemed easier than figuring out how to make it work with the trim.

They are pouring the last concrete tomorrow so I had to get some photos of the forms before they are filled in!

I made a little 3D printed model of the concrete stairs they are building the forms for in order to double check it will be the right shape

we are *so close* to being done!

went around to all the mini splits and got them connected to wifi! I don't love that it's a proprietary app, so I'm looking into an alternative controller that taps into the serial bus on the indoor units.

The custom cushions for the dining room bench seating finally arrived!

I'm very excited about the new concrete retaining wall! I was watching them pour it over the cameras while I was out of town

The painters are doing the last pass touching up all the spots that got dinged up while the rest of the work has been going on

They finally poured the concrete for the retaining wall in the back today!

They redid the drywall mud on this wall and seeing it like this has strongly reinforced that I made the right decision painting the whole stairwell up here black! 😂

The live edge desk is done! We put the table legs on it today and moved it into place!

installed the wall mounted soap dispenser in the bathroom!

Cleaned up the last wire for the stairs motion sensors. Cut out a little box and drilled a hole in a blank faceplate. Much better!

This infrared heater on the roof is doing exactly what I wanted it to do! Perfect for the chilly nights!

The mini splits got installed today! finally!

The giant backup battery for the house arrived! It weighs almost 100 pounds. Now I just need to make some cables to attach it to the house power inlet!

We did the top side coat of Rubio Monocoat today! Looks so good! 💯

Cleaned up and did the first side of the Rubio Monocoat for the live edge slab! I think it turned out pretty good!

I decided today would be a good day to hang the vertical monitor that will eventually be the home automation dashboard. I found a monitor that fills the available space. Next I need to get an HDMI over ethernet extender so I don't have to put a raspberry pi on the wall.
