Got stuck in a research hole looking for a new laptop/travel bag. Can't quite find anything that fits all my requirements though. Must be able to fit the following:
• Laptop: 7.75" x 11"
• Keyboard: 5.5" x 15.25"
• Headphones: flattens to 6.5"x7.5"x1.5" or collapses to 6.5"x5"x3"
• Kindle, notebooks: 5"x7"
• DSLR: 3.5" x 4.5" x 6"
• Battery: 3.5" x 6.5" x .75"
• Various wires and cords
For reference, I can currently fit everything in my small Tumi sling bag, except the keyboard sticks out the top by an inch and so I can't zip up the compartment. That bag would be perfect if it were just a little taller.
I want something that doesn't *look* like a backpack, and is nice enough looking to carry in a semi-professional setting. Most backpacks with two straps are too casual looking, and most of the one-strap slings are too small. More zippers are generally good, since I tend to carry lots of little things that would all get lost in a single compartment.

I do enjoy a short trip to the east coast. I can stay out til 11:30 and still go to bed before 9.

Finally landed in Lisbon! That was quite an adventure. That took so long my body has no idea what time it is anymore. Here's hoping I have no jetlag tomorrow!

PDX ✈️ SLC! Such a short (1:20) flight on a nice plane, sad this plane won't be continuing with me to AMS!

Oh jeez, this is going to be a mess. They made everyone with a rolly bag get a gate check tag, but then forgot to put a gate check agent outside the plane, so everyone is getting on the tiny plane with huge bags.

Just learned a new German word when a woman walked up to my table at the crowded hotel cafe and asked "Darf ich das mal klauen?" while pointing to the table setting next to me. Context is everything.

Only downside to staying in the Executive tower is you get to hear other executives' 5:45am phone calls through the walls.
