Designing an IndieWeb Reader Based on How I Read Social Media
In the current world of silos dominating the social media space, people typically have to visit half a dozen websites or apps to see all the latest content from friends. At this point I'm sick of this "multiple inbox" model that I want to find an alternative as fast as possible.continue reading... -

@aaronpk that wouldn't be "compliant" per protocol, but I think *we* can implement it. Please add issue https://github.com/superfeedr/documentation/
@julien51 From what I understood, it was optional for hubs to support, but explicitly called out in the spec: https://pubsubhubbub.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/pubsubhubbub-core-0.4.html#discovery "In the absence of HTTP [RFC2616] Link headers ... it MAY use embedded link elements..."
I will add an issue on Github, thanks! -

@t what are your thoughts on services like github as far as #indieweb go? Esp for private repos. Do you self host anything that isn't pub?
@philiprenich @t There's a pretty thorough writeup on the wiki! http://indiewebcamp.com/Github #indieweb -

@t don't think tweets belong my site. They're about distribution and I want the best distribution. My site (https://ouvre-boite.com)

@aaronpk I think it's more important to be heard than to speak :)

@aaronpk because POSSE means you focus on publishing and rely on others to distribute.

And the #indieweb movement cruelly misses this point: on the web owning is worthless if you do not control distribution.
