The torque required to turn the paddle could get quite high, particularly when food starts to get caught which it invariably does. I didn't measure it but it was certainly a fair old force required
Bingo, I just finished my cat feeder v2.0 ! No more cereal dispenser, I built everything myself ! I had the choice between different systems, but i chose an archimedes' screw.
This is the NeoPixel Shield from Adafruit. This Arduino shield is equipped with 40 WS2812 RGB LEDs arranged in an 5x8 matrix with on one pin (Digital #6) needed to control them all.
I figured it'd be fun to mess with the instructor's sanity by hiding a microcontroller inside one of the logic chips, and having it briefly flash (occasionally vulgar) messages onto the seven segment display when left idle
This pan/tilt bracket consists of two brackets and all the hardware you need to attach them to make a pan/tilt mechanism using two servo motors.
