Some people will be able to make better videos by putting more time into an individual video.

But I think that requires experience and talent.

Most people will improve FASTER in the early stages by MAKING MORE so they can learn and get sharper, faster and smarter via EXPERIENCE

well I did my (very small) part and migrated my two websites off of Cloudflare today. I'm sure my origin server can handle the extra 26gb/mo of traffic itself just fine.

Update: a week later and traffic has fallen off of Cloudflare. Interestingly I don't see a corresponding increase on the origin server's bandwidth usage, but I do see more requests in the access log.

Sometimes I get annoyed that it takes me 10 hours to make a video that takes you 10 minutes to watch.

So my goal with every video is that it gets at least as much total watch time as it took me to make it, then it's worth it.

I think developers focus so much of their energy on new dev tools because the barrier to shipping useful things in that space is so much lower, and you also generate interest from your peers.
