Ok I'm going to try and be an adult here.
No new MacBook and no new lens today.
You might think that not buying anything is the easier option.
You clearly don't know me.
Better than my response to the new MacBooks which was to go buy a new Razer Stealth 13 laptop and switch to Windows 🤣 -

I don’t think they did. I think it’s just newer tech in the reader; after all it’s been several years since the SD slot was included. I could be wrong though. Prograde makes reader isn’t cheap. But worth every penny (especialy the dual slot reader) if you create lots of content.
Good point, I always forget how long it's been since the SD card reader was built in, and just because clock speeds aren't much faster since then doesn't mean there weren't lots of other improvements in the tech. -

The ProGrade reader is a lot faster than the internal SD card reader by about 40% if memory serves.
Makes you wonder how they messed up the internal SD card reader so bad then!

I would pay a lot of money for the new MacBook Pro 16 to have SD card slots.
And by a lot I mean whatever let’s me stop using this dumb dongle 😳
I really miss the SD card slot 😭 -

Sometimes when I wake up after having fallen asleep wearing AirPods I get worried I swallowed one while sleeping when I can’t find them for 10 minutes 🤣😅just me? Ok.

Today I learned how strange (and mildly disorienting) it is to watch a video of yourself speak. I also learned that the voice I have for myself in my head is almost nothing like my actual voice 😂
100%! This year is the first year I finally don't feel like that, between editing videos of myself and watching back hundreds of hours of my presentations. -
