I just built a VM server with a NUC which I'm very pleased with, it was $1k, 32gb, 1tb ssd, 2tb hd, i9, but my main goal was that it should disappear into my desk -

That's actually one of our MacBook Pros I've got connected there :) but yes, the hardware power of a Linux or Windows based custom build is like half of the cost of that laptop.

The new monitors are here!!! Can't wait to hook them up to my new PC custom build in a couple weeks, but for now I can still use a couple with my laptop. Middle monitor is a 27" Dell UltraSharp 4k. ๐ I am STOKED!
I wish i could do this with a Mac, I really do. Do I need to switch to Windows? -
