Ok. I tried plugging into Ethernet and thought that would fix it and it still didnโ€™t work. Ugh... Iโ€™m going back tomorrow to test again. Iโ€™m not sure what to do especially for future events where I canโ€™t access their router. Tomorrow Iโ€™m going to check my IP address setup and DNS

I think Phoenix is on to something with the stream key issue

    Aaron Parecki
The cache is building up, so it doesn't have an internet connection. Double check the IP address and gateway using the ATEM Setup app.

    Why wonโ€™t the ATEM Mini Pro stream? ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ Cannot figure this out.... @Blackmagic_News @BMDesignPro #atemminipro @aaronpk ??
    Aaron Parecki
It probably can't connect to the internet! Double check the network settings like the router and DNS

Awesome! I was thinking of going SDI and glad that worked.

    Two more quick questions? <3

Does the SDI carry audio through the convertors?

HDMI Camera > Decimator > SDI Cable > Decimator > ATEM Mini Pro > Stream

Does the Decimator take m2m cables? TY! <3

Ask on the forums! Easier to give a better reply there!

Hey @aaronpk question for you. Have you ever used HDMI to Ethernet converters? I'm looking at some VS the Decimator convertor.

I'm also not sure what cable to get (female or male) for the Decimator and does audio carry over that at all or no?
    TY!
    Aaron Parecki
I have! There's a thread on the forums with some info, also feel free to start another if you have a specific question! https://forum.livevideotech.today/t/whats-best-for-sending-hdmi-signal-long-distances/118

    Aaron Parecki
You get a little notification that someone liked your email, and then you can also see a list of everyone who liked the email! I guess it's pretty well done.

Why is there not a "like" or "thumbs up" equivalent in email? ๐Ÿ˜ญ I need them to know I got it but it definitely doesn't constitute a *reply* "Sounds good!" *send*
    Aaron Parecki
Outlook 365 has a "like" button for email and I will say it is a very strange experience to get these likes in work emails.

@aaronpk zomg. I semi-randomly navigated to https://oauth2simplified.com/ and scrolled... and saw the cat.
The Mystery of the Cat Sticker I've had on a now-dead laptop (I was at some dev meetup and we did a sticker-swap) is solved! It's old tho, doesn't have yellow eyes.

Another day, another "bring back Google Reader" article that does not acknowledge Reader's extremely robust social features.

These features allowed someone to, for example, share an article they liked to their friends and spawn a private mini-forum to discuss that article. It was similar to sharing an article with friends on Facebook, but based on your RSS curation rather than whatever you got from Facebook's awful news feed.

    Aaron Parecki
    Yes! This!

This is why I keep talking about the need for a "social reader", not just bringing back RSS!

I'm spending a part of my quarantine learning After Effects, finally. I'll probably never consider myself an animator, but being able to move things around the way I used to in Flash (and still feel sort of relevant) will be good for me.
    Aaron Parecki
After Effects feels eerily similar to Flash in some ways.
