    Your site will first have to support syndication targets (I can't remember the current state of Known's Micropub endpoint), and then when you sign in to OwnYourGram.com, the dashboard will show you the interface in my previous screenshot.

    hm I thought Woodwind knew how to play videos? If not, I'm not sure how much I can do. I assume the video thumbnail shows up at least?

    This is everything that's wrong with developing for the web, and why I write apps instead. https://hackernoon.com/how-it-feels-to-learn-javascript-in-2016-d3a717dd577f
    Aaron Parecki
    @aallan Or you can just ignore all of this and write HTML by hand like the good ol' days: https://w7apk.com

    Good morning, thanks for tweeting. Please uninstall the app and reinstall to see if that helps. Enjoy your day.! ^In

    @AskAmex Thanks, it worked! I had an old version installed and had just updated before this. Might want to add that to the QA checklist!

    @davidmead that's odd... well I don't have an interface for doing that yet, but it's been in my backlog for a while. I was planning on working on OwnYourGram tomorrow so I just might get to building it!

    A hairy problem. One solution: one-click unsub, with a huge “user@example.com has been unsubscribed. Didn’t mean to? Subscribe”
    Aaron Parecki
    @akalsey Even better!

  • Not Fake Adam Kalsey https://twitter.com/akalsey   •   Dec 16
    One reason to do that: you forward a message to me, I click unsubscribe and unsub you.
    Aaron Parecki
    @akalsey I guess that's fair. Then it should pre-fill my email address. Otherwise I may not even know which of my addresses is subscribed!

    Other than not using XMLRPC to send and receive them, what makes Webmentions better than Ping/Trackbacks? https://indieweb.org/Webmention
    Aaron Parecki
    @jeffr0 Frankly not using XMLRPC is enough, but Webmention also supports updates and deletes, as well as extensions https://indieweb.org/Webmention-faq#Why_webmention_instead_of_pingback

    a long time ago, we hung paper snowflakes in the window...above our menorahs. After a few minutes, the candles caught the paper on fire, and my dad pulled the burning snowflakes down and stomped them out, but they left some scorch marks on the carpet for years after.

    Amazon had a crazy sale on them during Prime Day and then again this weekend. They're like $120 retail but were daiscounted to $60-70. After everyone was raving about them after Prime Day, I held my finger over the "buy" button until the price dropped again and went for it! So far I'm happy with it! I made rice last night in under 10 minutes!
