@philfreo I feel similarly! Take a look at oculus and the other tools Etsy has developed. All open source on their Github.

@nickstenning There's an issue open specifically for PyPi support: https://github.com/aaronpk/IndieAuth/issues/37 The error message is ridiculously unhelpful, so if the problem is that PyPi doesn't support OpenID 1 then that would be a good reason to add OpenID 2 support! Please add to the issue if you have any thoughts on that! #indieauth

@geekcode BYO mail server is an interesting idea, hadn't considered that before. Is that something you'd use? How large of teams would you want to use it with?

@geekcode The emails are sent out through Amazon SES. It's a pretty barebones service but also cheap!
