It's been a long time since I've done a full day marathon coding session, but I am nearly done with a tool that will archive your entire Flickr account as a static website that you can browse entirely offline!

Downloading my 124gb of Flickr data now...

Remember the Eye-Fi SD card? that was so good! why doesn't anything like that exist anymore? At this point you'd think at this point Apple/Google/Amazon would want to make one that uploads to their own clouds or something

Any clever SQL people out there? Given the raw data on the left, (a table of test results) how do I write a SQL query to give me the results on the right, (the results grouped by date as well as grouped by result)?

Do you ever do the thing in @duolingo where you're given a sentence in the language you're learning and you immediately understand it in your native language and then mistakenly think the task is to type it back in the foreign language?

Turns out if you buy someone an @AlaskaAir flight with your airline miles, it gets added to your own Alaska account, and then you get push notifications when their flight starts boarding and have a mild panic because you thought you were supposed to be at the airport

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
