    Reading a bunch of cyberpunk stuff as a kid got me used to the idea that when I was an adult a bunch of billionaires and multinational corporations were going to try and kill me but I always thought it would be more fun, you know?

    Totally agree that getting something on the screen as quickly as possible is a prerequisite …but an app shell is not the only way to do that. Conflating the two is confusing.

    A Modern CSS Reset - Andy Bell

    October 3rd, 2019

    Some very smart ideas in here for resetting default browser styles, like only resetting lists that have classes applied to them:

    ul[class],
    ol[class] {
      padding: 0;
    }

    I select only lists that do have a class attribute because if a plain ol’ <ul> or <ol> gets used, I want it to look like a list. A lot of resets, including my previous ones, aggressively remove that.

    Also if you complain in my comments section saying you demand unbiased videos I’m sorry but I assume you are a child.

    No human being is unbiased, all you can do is state mitigating factors upfront (sponsored videos etc) and enjoy making your content.

    so i recently learned that you can actually do zigbee tx using a wifi card

    because with 2.4ghz wifi you can construct a wifi frame with packet data that also decodes as a valid zigbee frame

    this is
    cursed beyond belief tbh
