Yes! I have been thinking about this a lot as well. Having hosted lots of IndieWeb events on my site (including HWC Baltimore and some of my improv shows), I increasingly feel like those event pages belong somewhere on the web associated with those communities.

I will of course keep my own RSVPs, photos, and recap write-ups on my site, but would gladly syndicate them to the community event page. If the event page supports IndieWeb building blocks like microformats2 and webmention, I wouldn’t even have to do anything special for them to show up there!

As someone who works in ag & food distribution I gotta disagree w this.

A lot of "ugly" food

-Won't survive distribution bc weird shapes makes it prone to getting smushed, bruised, start to rot, & make everything else in the box/crate rot. Broken skin does the same thing.

Made some significant progress today on an approximately 2,800 word feature article on the W3C Micropub spec with some motivation, examples, use cases, etc. Needs some editing, a bit of artwork, and some screenshots, but we’re nearly there.

Have a few ideas about placement already…

Still boggles the mind the financial industry has not pushed OAuth as a model for delegating access to transaction history data for aggregators w/o exposing customer passwords. Most seem to still be fine with 3rd party aggregators accepting customer credentials... #solvedProblem
