what I usually say to speakers is a rough title and 3-4 bullet points of what you want to cover as a start-I think why it's challenging is folks try to "sell" the talk from the get go, rather than refine the focus, then worry about selling it

I once tried a Pelaton at the mall and wasn’t super impressed with it, especially after they told me about the price tag and the monthly fee. Like why would I pay for that when I could buy a similar bike and use my own tablet and access anything I want for free?
