If you were closer I’d say drop one off for my Post Production World class tomorrow! Oh well.
    Aaron Parecki
Ah well, next time! I have some (mostly functional) prototypes I need to get rid of so don't be surprised if one of those shows up, unless you want to buy one of the "real" ones tomorrow πŸ˜‰

I guess this (mini) tip on the Mini isn’t so mini after all.
    Aaron Parecki
The only thing missing from this picture is a nice stand for your ATEM Mini Extreme to attach all that gear to... πŸ€”πŸ˜‰

@aaronpk not sure if you meant "web view" as in embedded web view inside a native app - but if so that is not technically more secure. Launching a system browser prevents the calling app from keylogging in that web page.
    Aaron Parecki
I know you know me from a different context, but this is literally what I spend most of my time talking about πŸ™ƒ I have like a book and video course all about it πŸ˜‰

There’s ongoing costs, too. You can’t just /keep/ a pilot’s license. You have to use it. If you don’t fly a minimum number of hours a year, you lose it. So you’ll have to rent planes.

Lots of pilots sell β€œat cost” trips to travelers to fund their hours.
    Aaron Parecki
Yeah that's why I'm thinking this simulator idea isn't so far fetched πŸ˜‰

    Aaron Parecki

I'm looking at the ATEM Mini, and might just get it and a couple cameras and do actual switching instead of simulating it.
    Aaron Parecki
If you wait a few days I’ll have a video about it out πŸ˜‰ Mine is in the mail right now! At $300 it’s basically a no brainer.

Ok I haven’t used it much since getting it and in my new stance on not holding onto camera gear I’m passing on my impulsive behavior onto savings for you!

Selling my Lumix 10-25 mft lens! If you want to get a deal shoot me a dm πŸ‘
    Aaron Parecki
uggg I want it but I don't think I can justify even an extremely good deal on that! (Also your DMs aren't open so that makes that decision easier πŸ˜‰)

That would be awesome! They did just release the LX100II. I'd totally be down for a LX10II.
    Aaron Parecki
Maybe they can fix the stabilization while they're at it πŸ˜‰ And also give it a mic jack.
