@aaronpk Are you using something off-the-shelf for that, or something custom?
I've wanted to do something similar for a while, but a lot of the off-the-shelf ones aren't available in Japan (to the best of my knowledge)

oh I have no idea what it would take to find this in Japan, but I'm using this one: https://www.brultech.com/greeneye/

Everything stays on the local network and doesn't use the internet at all. It also feeds into Home Assistant!

The hot tub cover finally arrived! I had to screw the little clamps in for the straps, and it felt more than a little terrifying to drill a hole in the wood with it full of water.
