I'm sure things changed after the federal push of boosters for all, but it was like pulling teeth to get a booster the first week of November.
weird, I got mine in October and I don't even think there was a special box to tick, just had to be 6 months after J&J -

@aaronpk Pretty sure moving to the proprietary walled garden GitHub where a project's data has no escape route fails at least 7/11 of the #IndieWeb principles.

❌ Open source your stuff

❌ Longevity
❌ Plurality

Shilling for Microsoft is pretty far afield from the #IndieWeb ....
I think you'll find most of the IndieWeb community is not the die-hard FOSS fans. Open source is important, but is not an end goal in and of itself. There's plenty of examples of not open source IndieWeb software that happily interoperates with the open source software. -

Cool cool, @Gargron moving all @Mastodon project discussion behind a proprietary walled garden that requires agreement with Microsoft terms of service (and their analytics tracking). Now THAT makes a ton of sense. 🤦♂️

Good. Less infrastructure for the project maintainers to maintain means more time to spend on the actual product. Running a Discourse instance isn't free, both in money and time. -

I haven't written anything specific about it because it's mostly a bunch of low-level gibberish around http signing and creating funny JSON blobs, but I did spin out the code into a standalone service I've used for other bots https://github.com/aaronpk/Nautilus -
I was completely happy with my income until a friend told me that if you fly on private jets you don't have to go through the airport or TSA. They just drive you right to the plane door. Welp, back to work 😭
