Hey @aaronpk, is there a reason the device authorization grant doesn't specify long polling? Seems like potentially a lot of time and resources left on the table with interval polling.
There was some discussion on this a few years ago.
Generally, polling is not actually a resource problem (e.g. the YouTube app does it), and the simplicity of having just one method (polling) outweighed any theoretical benefits you'd get from long-polling or websockets. -

I never realized how awesome faceID on iPhones was until I had to start wearing a mask
I've heard a rumor you can add your masked face as a second face to unlock the phone. I keep forgetting to try that myself. -
I've been doing a lot of #IndieWeb things recently which allow me to own my data a lot better - such as this tweet which is actually published to my site first, then gets syndicated to Twitter - been fun for many reasons
