Progress on the driveway pavers!

Why yes I did burn CDs of the full length versions of all 100 of my #100DaysOfMusic songs organized into cohesive albums. And yes you can also find them on Spotify but this is much more fun.

This week's Lego build progress

Finally got around to tucking the exterior Ethernet runs into a box so there aren't random wires dangling from the side of the house anymore. In hindsight I would have placed these slightly better and put them inside a box in the wall, so this will do instead.

When will riding in self driving cars get old? I try to do this at least once when I visit SF. I'm guessing it'll be at least 5 years before this is anywhere near normal.

Somehow this iPod from 2007 handles files better than this mp3 player from 2026

The hot tub controller/heater is on its way back, but won't arrive until tomorrow evening. It's expected to drop to 28° tonight, so I had to drain the tub so the pipes don't freeze. But it's ok because this water needed to be changed out anyway, so Sunday I will try to get the tub back up in operation.

It's crazy that CDs are the most reliable way to play a list of songs in a specific order with nothing else. Also burning CDs is super easy now too, easier than trying to put a list of files on a USB drive in a specific order. Also also my burned CDs from 20-25 years ago still play just fine, which is definitely something I questioned 20 years ago, so to my past self: the answer is yes.
