That's all conservatism is anymore: "I want the world to be the way I thought it was when I was 8. It doesn't matter whether it was really that way or not, all that matters is that I don't like being a grown-up dealing with a big, complicated world and someone's gonna pay."

    Yeah, I'm http://sgo.to!

That reminds me, actually, of another project we looked at early on: @t's and @aaronpk 's indie auth project!

    Will post about it sometime!

Sixth, you need to be passionate.

You need to wear your heart on your sleeve.

You need to sometimes dribble on your sleeve.

    Sometimes more than dribble.

    You've got this.

    And you've SOAKED it.

    Love it too!

I'm pretty proud of owning and running my own domain too. I don't federate out, but generally buy much of indie auth's design.

I actually think DNS is decentralized enough for my taste, but is rather difficult/expensive to set up and run a website (comparatively).

Today I worked on budget spreadsheets, planned out all of next year's travel, went grocery shopping at two different stores, restocked the pantry, emptied the dishwasher, and cleaned the sink.

When do I get my adulting trophy?

@aaronpk how can you know all travel for the whole next year already?

    Aaron Parecki
There's a bunch of key events that have already scheduled their dates for next year. The rest is my estimates about how much and when I want to be traveling, and planning breaks for a few consecutive weeks at home.

I hate complaining but ugh. I spent 25 minutes dodging questions from my Uber driver about why I’m not married and am single.

He would not let it go.

You haven’t tried? Do not want to? Why?
    Aaron Parecki
