  I need a social clue for in-person discussion playing the same role as unmuting oneself on Zoom.

  I had this same question, and my personal conclusion was that if it's a main feature of the video then yes, but if it's just on camera, then no. Sweetwater sent me the SM7B, so if I do a review on it, then I'll click the box, but if I'm just using it in a video then I won't.
