I forgot what a well-written book and a little study time can do! Feeling pretty good about my chances of passing the ham radio test on Sunday!

  Good luck! Also remember, good gear costs some serious money. I'm still using an HT since all the bigger stuff is just too damn expensive. N7AZE btw. Just a tech... haven't bothered with general since I don't have a bench radio (re:cost).

  Hah nice, I took mine almost 10 years ago as part of a college course on disasters. Learned a lot of interesting stuff. Also, you can get one of those sweet yellow license plates.
