    @LanceCoyote of course! But you can't have multiple implementations of things until at least one exists, so you have to start somewhere. It's been interesting to see which pieces get replicated first. There are lots of Micropub clients for example, but only a couple additional auth servers like https://indiecert.net I'd be thrilled if people built more things to make indieauth.com and the rest of the things I build less popular!

      I get a little concerned about how popular #IndieWeb services like #Bridgy and #IndieAuth can be. It beats using a proprietary solution - being able to run your own instance solves many centralization woes - but I would like to replace them with something homemade on my site eventually.
      Not that I don’t appreciate all the work @snarfed and @aaronpk have done for the community, these are great services! I just want to see more diversity in the technology we use.
