    Quantified Self Global Conference

    Presented at quantifiedself.com/conference/San-Francisco-2013/

Location, sleep and weight are the three things Aaron has managed to track consistently. Combining these data sources helped him learn new things about himself.

Below is a link and information about the IFTTT recipe mentioned in the presentation which is how I get my weight data from the Withings scale onto my website.

Reflect allows you to track everything you would like to track, such as your emotion, medication, weight. Can integrate with Weather app, Apple Health, Oura and Whoop. It reminds me of Quantified Self. You can create formulas to combine different metrics, plots, timers (track at the same time!), and the app also generates insights and reports. Aaron Parecki has been tracking various aspects of this life for years – specifically location, weight, and sleep. The format of the backup file is JSON and it supports iCloud automated backup, which means it is possible to update your stats to the web automatically.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
