How is it possible to buy a 7" Android tablet for 2/3 the cost of the Philips Hue Tap switch? Both make good lightswitches.

Philips Hue alternative for “Lamp Stealer” using telnet | Paul Wouters at more then 140 chars (nohats.ca)

Place a bulb of the second starter kit into a socket within 30cm of the bridge from the first starterpack. Telnet to port 30000 of the bridge and type: [Link,Touchlink] The light should blink a few times to acknowledge the hostile takeover.

@tweethue I keep seeing references to being able to connect motion sensors or other ZigBee devices to the hub. Is that supported right now?
