What do small open source projects use for storing notes, documents, collaborating on things? Having a Nextcloud instance feels like overkill, and we all know Google Docs is a non-starter.
We use a MediaWiki instance in the #indieweb community. It's by far the best wiki platform even if it isn't based on markdown. -

Playing with http://indielogin.com and it's pretty spiffy - I can authenticate as my domain using my PGP key. Now I'm looking into using more bits of the p3k system https://indieweb.org/p3k from @aaronpk to add bits of #indieweb dynamicness to my simple static site.

One of the biggest issues I have with some folks in the #Indieweb community right now are the people who want to demetricate social media posts. My opinion on that, is that metrics aren't bad in themselves.
Frankly I agree, I find value in some metrics for various reasons, it's not always a bad thing. There also isn't a single #IndieWeb opinion on this kind of thing, which is the great part about the IndieWeb. -
