I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of Olive Garden commercials and then asked it to write an Olive Garden commercial of its own. Here is the first page.

Reasons to live on US east coast as an engineer: 1. can wake up at 11am and still beat lazy west coast co-workers to work. 2. Low ping to us-east (best data center). 3. Timezone overlap with Europe (cool people who ride bikes and trains)

Nah this isn’t the right take. My entire career is based upon the very idea that tools got more accessible and easier to use by single artists than they ever were before, and as a result I was able to make some cool stuff!

Art is just a series of creative decisions.

More creators should consider what I call "platform arbitrage" by taking content that's already proven on more established platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn) and becoming the "first mover" in that niche/format on a newer platform with a rapidly growing user base (TikTok, Shorts).

Yeah I have an M1 Pro for work and it’s really great but I’d like to save the $800 for my personal πŸ˜…
    Aaron Parecki
I've been editing all my videos on my M1 Air and it's just fine. I'm sure it's not as fast as the M1 Pro but I don't have any complaints. I use Resolve, so I can't speak to the performance for other video editors.

the best part of tying legacy verified accounts to Twitter Blue is now every celebrity will explicitly tweet β€œI am not subscribed to Twitter Blue” to make it clear that they are not. another brilliant stroke of genius from the master of business

The latest Twitter update that changed the Twitter logo to doge also broke retweets by removing the indicator of who retweeted them so now the Following twitter feed looks like it's full of random accounts.

    Good job.

I am yet to hear an argument for cars in cities that doesn't boil down to them being good umbrellas.

I'm excited that beginning tomorrow, if I see a tweet from a celebrity or company I've heard of, I will have to click through to their profile, check their follower count, and scroll through 10 more of their most recent tweets to try to make an educated guess if it's really them

This trip is doing a good job of reminding me why I don't check bags. 40 minutes waiting for bags at PDX, and the Lyft pickup went from 1 minute away to 15 minutes away 😭
