As an engineer at Twitter, I can confirm that Elon Musk doesn’t understand anything about our website, or coding in general. Not gonna lie, we laugh REALLY hard about it behind his back. We’ve been calling him “the CEO,” but it stands for Code Efficiency 0.

The Australian experience of the internet is that you wake up and the internet happened overnight, and you quickly read it and then go on with your day.

I don’t know how the rest of you get anything done when the internet is on all day.

So just to recap, new boss fired most of my coworkers, drove away most advertisers, keeps changing his mind about “free speech” and “verification”, is publicly denigrating my current and ex coworkers, and now won’t let anyone make any changes to the code. Things are going great!
